With the end of July in sight, many educators are turning their attention back to the classroom and are beginning to prepare for the upcoming school year. This week, we’d like to turn your attention back to our April 9th post titled Matters of Consequence as a springboard for starting the new year with perspective. This week we’ve begun thinking about the importance of practice and it seems that with the many mandates given to teachers, it is easy to lose sight of what is really important. Our hope is that you begin your year not only thinking about administrative “matters of consequence” but also about the “matters of consequence” that drove you to become an educator in the first place!
